When you log in to the App, we collect your username, full name, and authentication credentials to verify your identity and provide access to your organization's work orders and field service data.
Important: The App collects precise location data (GPS coordinates) both when the App is in use (foreground) and when it is running in the background. This is essential for the field service management features of the App.

Your data is stored on secure servers protected by encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and industry-standard security measures. Authentication tokens are stored securely on your device using encrypted storage (SecureStore). Location data that cannot be transmitted immediately due to connectivity issues is cached locally on your device and uploaded when a connection is available.
We retain location data for operational purposes as determined by your organization's data retention policies. You or your organization's administrator may request deletion of historical location data at any time.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:
Matix Field collects location data in the background to enable continuous technician tracking for dispatch coordination, even when the App is not actively in use. This allows your organization's dispatch team to see real-time field positions and assign work orders to the nearest available technician. Background tracking only occurs when you have explicitly enabled it and can be stopped at any time from the Profile screen within the App.
The App is designed for professional field service use and is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or via push notification. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
